From the Fit Stage.........
If you are having saddle discomfort, it may be that you are using a saddle that isn’t designed to support you properly. Bontrager has a Women’s Specific line of saddles that may do the trick. The saddles come in 3 widths to allow a perfect match to your sit bones. The rear curvature of the saddle is customized based on the size of the saddle for optimal seating support as well as having a custom tuned shell for support and comfort. The superlight ZONE DENSITY foam adds support and compliance to specific areas it is needed most as well as having a Contour Relief Zone that provides added relief for women’s specific needs. So if you are having saddle issues, call us, make an appointment and we can determine if the saddle you are currently using is the right one for you. Then we can make suggestions and any necessary adjustments for you to get as comfortable as possible.

Fees
Please send $60 per rider and a signed release form (attached to email) to Ember Figgins, 1388 Briar Creek Drive, St. Charles, MO 63304. The fee will cover the cost of SAG driver‘s lodging and vehicle expenses, bike transportation, and hydration during riding. All fees and release forms are due by April 19, 2008. This fee is based on estimated costs and divided equally among an estimated 20 riders. If actual costs exceed $60 per rider, we will collect the remainder when the ride starts. If actual costs are less than estimated, we will refund any remaining amount to each rider.
Jersey
Jerseys are currently being finalized in the art department at our custom jersey company. Diversified Machining Services and Rosewood Chiropractic Clinic are sponsoring our jerseys, so they will only cost $23 for each rider to have 1 jersey. If you would like to order any additional jerseys, they will cost $45 each. Finalized proofs will be ready for viewing soon and a notice will be sent out at that time. Unisex sizing is determined by chest size (inches) and are as follows: XS – 38, S – 40, M – 42, L – 44, XL – 46, XXL – 48, and XXXL – 51. Registar for the MS150 Today!
Friday, January 11, 2008
Join Our Team
Be sure to sign up early to reserve your spot on the Ghisallo MS150 Team. Becky Paese has volunteered to be our Team Captain and has our team spot reserved. Just click on the Ghisallo MS150 Team link and it will take you to our team registration. It only costs $25 to registar and each member will need to raise a $250 minimum donation.
Many of the team members have already participated in this event in the past. However, with our team will will have major support. First we will have a trainer that we give us a week by week training programs to prepare us for the ride. Our group rides will offer opportunities to get you training rides in with friends working towards the same goal. We will also have some special events to help us in the fund raising process. My hope is that we work as hard at raising money for the cause as we do with our training.
The number of people living with multiple sclerosis increases every hour of every day. This astonishing rate is not going to diminish, nor will it stop, until we've found a cure. Research has made some incredible advances recently, but the world can still only offer disease management drugs and therapies to the 400,000 people living with MS in America. We've formed a team for the MS Bike Tour because we know that riding 150 miles is nowhere near as difficult as confronting a lifetime with multiple sclerosis. The National Multiple Sclerosis Society gives us all reason to hope, though. In addition to supporting novel research projects around the globe, they also provide much needed education, programs, and services to everyone who is affected by MS - including the diagnosed, their friends and families, and the healthcare professionals who work with them.Join our team as a cyclist or a volunteer! Make a donation online! Send in a check! Talk to your employer about becoming a sponsor of the MS Bike Tour! There are so many ways to make a difference in the fight against MS, and it all begins right here.
